ABOUT
KO Door Company was founded in 2015 by Kevin Ott.
Prior to starting KO Door, Kevin spent 25+ years as a general contractor in the Colorado and Rocky Mountain Western Areas, 18 of which were at Swinerton Builders. The largest projects he managed as the Vice President and Division Manager of Denver for Swinerton were One Lincoln Park, a $120 million dollar luxury condo complex and the Four Seasons Hotel downtown, a $210 million dollar contract value completed in record time. Through these experiences, he understood and filled the need for a high quality full tier sub contractor servicing Doors, Trim, and Specialties in the Multi-Family and Commercial markets.
Partnered with Matt Golesh of Golesh Door, his 40+ years of experience in the door and hardware industry is unmatched and helps set KO Door apart from the competition. The company has grown from what used to be just a home office of one, with Kevin's wife Liz and father Hank helping run deliveries, to now, a full service subcontractor with over 40 full time employees and over $60 million dollars in completed contracts. Our new headquarters off of Colorado Boulevard and I-70 allows our team to grow even more while providing better access to our suppliers and deliveries and services to our clients.
Our team includes an extremely responsive and capable estimating department lead by Matt, and experienced and dedicated Project Managers, Field Supervisors, Delivery Staff, and Installers all trained with the mindset of the services Kevin wished he had during his time as a general contractor.

KO Door will handle your submittals, the scheduling, all purchase orders, material delivery, installation, punch, and closeouts for a variety of scopes all under one roof.

Project Management and Site Supervision
Our approach includes maintaining a full time on site supervisor to ensure quality and schedule needs are met.
Our Project Managers are dedicated to a job to provide timely responses to cost impacts, review drawings, and help solve project concerns.
Both our PM and Field Teams utilize Builder Trend Software for all purchase orders, change orders, and scheduling as well as our quality control standards.
This software system, combined with our industry connections and dedicated and knowledgeable project managers and foremen lends itself to long term and successful trade partnerships with our clients.

At this time KO Door services multi-family apartment buildings, high speed overhead and garage doors, and commercial projects in the Colorado Front Range and supply only outside of Colorado.
